Not a bad looking morning for Good Friday, but there does appear to be a complete lack of surf at Dee Why. Swell at sea was running at a metre from the SE with a peak period in the 10-second range, so better angled exposures should be seeing at least a tiny little something. Figure ankle-to-knee and choose the appropriate tool from your quiver. First tide of the daylight hours is the 1.4 metre high at 1140. Weather should be partly cloudy and 25, while winds should remain light.
The Bureau expects the south swell to perk a little tomorrow and the models show Sunday potentially being into the fun-size range for the early at south magnets.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge across the Tasman Sea. The ridge will strengthen as a the high moves east, reaching the Tasman Sea early Friday, where it becomes slow-moving. The next southerly change is expected during Tuesday in the south.
