‘What is wrong with you?’ swipes Naga Munchetty at BBC Breakfast co-star after another hosting shake up
NAGA Munchetty took a swipe at her BBC Breakfast co-star Ben Thompson as fans point out it’s only 22 minutes into the show.
Ben couldn’t ignore Naga taking notes on her laptop during Friday’s episode of BBC Breakfast.
Ben asked her: “What are you doing?,” to which Naga replied: “My work!”
He joked whether she was sending an email or writing a book in the middle of the show.
But an irritated Naga exclaimed: “What’s wrong with you? Mocking me typing? 6.22am and it’s started already!”
Taking to social media, fans were revelling in the co-stars banter.
One fan wrote: “Quite surprised… Almost an hour and Munchetty hasn’t physically slapped Thompson yet!”
Naga recently made a striking admission as she revealed her attire for bed.
Speaking to The Times, Naga revealed her alarm clock goes off at a gruelling time.
The journalist explained: “My first alarm is at 3.45 and I’m in the BBC Breakfast studio by 4.50.
“On radio days I wake up naturally at 5.45, but I’m a terrible prevaricator.
“As a kid, my mum would have to physically pull me from my bed. My first thought is always: how long can I stay here before I have to drag my arse to the gym?”
She explained: “I haven’t worn anything in bed since I was about 16. There’s something very luxurious and freeing about being naked and having clean sheets around you.”
Naga, who always wows viewers with her glamorous and flawless look on air, never wears make-up outside of the studio.
“I never wear make-up outside work – I’m quite lazy,” she admitted.
“I’ll rock up to Broadcasting House in jeans and trainers and a rollneck jumper, have porridge and a cup of tea at my desk, then we’re on air from 11 to 1pm.”
