Four dead as floods ravage India
Recently, Indian authorities have announced that as a result of ongoing floods caused by monsoon rains in eastern India, four people have lost their lives.
According to Reuters, Indian authorities reported on Sunday, March 31st, that a storm and flood occurred in the state of West Bengal, resulting in four fatalities and several others being transferred to hospitals.
Based on reports, the storm and flood caused by monsoon rains in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal have destroyed some residential houses.
Moreover, the floods have disrupted transportation and caused power outages, adding to the damages incurred.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has also witnessed recent monsoon rains, and authorities of this country have recently released statistics indicating that at least ten people have lost their lives due to recent floods in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
