Today’s Jenna Bush Hager reveals $11 oil that her ‘magician’ makeup artist puts on her skin every morning she’s on TV
GETTING up in the morning can be tough and sometimes your skin can reflect the tired struggle.
Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager revealed the product her “magician” makeup artist swears by for a glowing finish.
In her viral video, Jenna (@jenna_bushhager) showed her followers the beauty items her team applies every day before she goes on air.
After her team of “magicians finished their work,” they broke down their recommendations.
The 42-year-old passed over to her makeup artist Deanna to share her favorite skincare item.
Deanna showed viewers The Ordinary’s 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, available for $10.90.
She explained that she always applies the oil to the TV personality’s face before doing her makeup.
“We use it every morning, it’s super affordable, and it is super hydrating,” Denna said.
The beauty brand recommends applying the product before bed for the best results.
Directions suggest using the oil as the last step of your skincare routine.
Designed to tackle dryness and dullness of the skin, the product is suitable for normal, dry, combination, and oily complexions.
The Ordinary described the item as a “daily support formula with 100 percent high-purity, sustainably sourced, organic, cold-pressed rose hip seed oil.”
According to experts at WebMD, rose hip seed oil has several benefits for your complexion.
“The Vitamin C in rosehip oil acts as an antioxidant, a substance that protects your cells against damage and disease,” they explained.
“Rosehips help repair your skin after sun damage and can even reverse signs of aging caused by too much sun.”
As well as helping with anti-aging efforts, the oil can also brighten your skin.
“The retinoids in rosehip oil can help brighten your skin, prevent blackheads, and reduce inflammation,” the experts said.
