Rihanna Debuts New Lingerie Line With Steamy Photoshoot
Rihanna just welcomed her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky last summer, but you certainly wouldn't know it. Over the weekend, the 36-year-old unveiled a new line of lingerie from her Savage X Fenty brand. And she looks as sexy as ever modeling the pieces in an accompanying photoshoot.
"Bill this long ... put it on another room," Rihanna captioned an Instagram post announcing the Savage Signature Script lace collection. In the steamy photos, she appears in the line's Signature Script Unlined Bra and Cheeky Panty in Island Breeze Blue, as well as a matching sleep top and short set in lavender.
Other pieces in the collection include a Thong Panty, Slip, and Underwire Teddy; the latter of which the Bajan beauty appeared in on the brand's account.
"Something for you to think about forevaaa. [Rihanna] is serving ICONIC lace in the new Signature Script Teddy," the account captioned a series of three photos of Rihanna wearing the sheer negligee in nude.
Rihanna launched Savage X Fenty with a Brooklyn pop-up shop in 2018 and the line was immediately a smash success, with the debut collection selling out completely within a month of launching. The following year, Fast Company named Savage X Fenty among the 10 most innovative style companies of 2020, and by 2021 the brand was valued at $1 billion.
In Vol. 1 of Amazon's Savage X Fenty Show documentary, Fenty senior vice president Jennifer Rosales explained how inclusive marketing has been crucial to the growth and popularity of the brand.
"There's not like a target audience. It's for everyone," Rosales said. "Everything that she does is for everyone. She wants everyone to feel beautiful, everyone to feel empowered, everyone to feel that strength to become the best version of themselves."
And clearly, Rihanna aims to lead by example.
