2024 Swim Ireland AGM
As advised in previous correspondence issued on Monday 19 February 2024, the Swim Ireland Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the Zoom Platform on Tuesday 23 April 2024, commencing at 18.30.
Each affiliated Club is entitled to send two (2) Delegates to the meeting. Delegates must be members of the Club. Club Secretaries must register Delegates in advance using the link below on or before 5.00pm on
Monday 22nd April and must supply the email addresses of the Delegates.
A secure link and log on instructions will be sent to all registered Delegates by 9.00pm on Monday 22nd April.
The meeting will be live streamed on Swim Ireland’s YouTube channel, allowing members who are not Delegates to attend virtually. If any Delegates are attending that require any additional support, in order to participate fully, for example sign language interpreters, can you please let us know by contacting andreworourke@swimireland.ie on or before Friday April 5th

NOTICE OF MOTIONS
Members are also advised that the Board of Directors is putting forward four (4) Motions for consideration at the meeting. Full details of the Motion are available below.
On Wednesday 10th April (evening) Swim Ireland will host an information session on the proposed Motions. The session will provide an overview of the Motions and give members an opportunity to ask questions. Any club member may attend, and further details will issue shortly.
ELECTIONS
The election of the Board of Directors takes place at the AGM. The closing date for receipt of nominations in respect of vacancies arising was Monday 25 March 2024. Two nominations were received for the vacant position of Board Secretary and therefore an election is required at the AGM for this position, with voting delegates being asked to vote. Members will be asked to ratify the appointment of the other nominees for the Board at the meeting. Details are contained in Document 6-Election Information.
Finally, we advise you that important AGM documentation is below and we would ask Club Secretaries to ensure that Delegates are given a copy of all documentation, and that Delegates take some time to read this in
advance.
