Capital Region brewery among Top 10 for Best NY Burger
CHATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The New York Beef Council has announced the Top 10 restaurants for its eighth annual Best NY Burger Competition. Making its way out of the initial pool of nominees, Chatham Brewing’s "Loaded Brewery Burger" is among the Top 10.
"This year's Top Ten finalists represent the top of burger craftsmanship in New York State," said Chrissy Claudio, Director of Consumer Engagement at the New York Beef Council. "Their dedication to sourcing the finest ingredients, perfecting their craft, and delighting diners with unparalleled burger experiences is commendable."
The public was able to vote online for Best NY Burger until April 1. Based on the voting results, the Top 10 was determined.
To decide the Best NY Burger, a panel of judges will now visit each restaurant and rate the burgers on taste, appearance, and temperature (160 degrees). The judges will not announce their presence at the restaurant or ask for a free meal. The winner is set to be announced on May 1.
