Travis Kelce’s Trainer Shares Star's Rigorous Off-Season Workout

Travis Kelce’s Beverly Hills trainer, Laurence Justin Ng, shared behind-the-scenes footage of the 34-year-old's relentless off-season workout to Instagram on Wednesday. “Year 12!” Ng triumphantly captioned the 20-second clip.

Much like Kelce’s workouts, Ng fits a lot into the short montage, which was seemingly recorded in the Chiefs tight end's parking garage. Surrounded by a plethora of designer automobiles, Kelce is seen enacting a series of exercises to improve maneuverability and speed. He’s shown doing hip flexors before jumping into knee drives, and steep sprints on a treadmill and then up the parking garage’s ramp.

Kelce can also be seen doing several banded exercises, which help to activate and tone the muscles in addition to offering an all-around strength workout.

Ng owns Legendary Performance, a private gym in Beverly Hills. It’s unclear for how long the two have trained together, but Ng has found himself in the enviable position of Kelce’s West Coast trainer as the Kansas City star spends his down months with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Kelce is also gearing up to host his second annual Kelce Jam, Kansas City’s largest music festival. The event, which will see performances from Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz (but not Swift), kicks off on May 28.

It’s just one in a series of big moves Kelce is making to prime himself for a Hollywood career after he leaves the NFL. But he told People earlier this week that football is still his number-one priority for the foreseeable future.

“Sure enough, I'm out here in the entertainment world trying to dabble into that before I get back locked in on football, and knowing that that's going to be my focus until I'm done playing," Kelce said.
