This Spice Girl Was Kicked Out of the Band's Group Chat & Revealed Why

The Spice Girls are hilariously turning on one another in an attempt to keep their possible reunion plans as secretive as possible, one member of the British girl band has revealed.

Melanie Brown, who most of us know as Mel B, joked about getting cut out of the band’s WhatsApp group chat during an interview with ITV presenter Alison Hammond on Britain’s “This Morning” on Thursday, April 4.

“That always happens to me,” the singer, 48, responded when Hammond revealed that she had heard about Brown’s involuntary group chat exit, “because I say things.” Brown is, seemingly, in hot water with her fellow bandmates, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chishol, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell, over spilling the beans on their potential 30th anniversary reunion this year.

“You know, I get so excited when it comes to Spice Girls, because it is 30 years. And, you know, we’ve got a lot to celebrate — the fact that we’re all still healthy and living life and all talking still,” Brown continued. “It’s nice, so I can’t say anything else to get myself kicked out!”

The singer, who was known as Scary Spice in the hit girl group, previously joked about her group chat situation during an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show in March.

“We are wanting to do something, and we are, but I can’t really tell you because I’ll get kicked out of the WhatsApp group again,” Brown said. “I have to be really careful. We’re definitely doing something. I’m probably going to get told off! I’m in trouble now.”

Despite Brown doing her best to raise fans’ hopes, Posh Spice (Beckham) may have put an end to speculation when she told Radio France last month that she had no intention of returning to the stage any time soon.

“We do have a group chat. I do speak to all the girls,” Beckham said. “It would be lovely for us to do something to celebrate — a dinner or a lunch — and reminisce, but, yes, it will not be any more than that.”

“I’m so proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls that now, for me, it’s about empowering people through fashion and beauty,” the designer shared. “There have been lots of rumors about tours and performances, but that will not happen. But I’d love to celebrate with the girls in another way, just me and them.”
