A FASHION fan has revealed she’s found the dream summer skirt in River Island – after thinking the store had gone extinct.
Eve Fallon regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit picks on social media (@evefallon).
In a recent clip, the 25-year-old revealed she gave the high street store a chance when struggling to find a wedding guest outfit.
But instead, she walked out with a £30 buy that will be perfect for summer drinks.
Eve – from Scotland – picked up the lime green satin midi skirt, available in sizes 6-18, after trying it on in the changing rooms.
After trying it on, she admitted: “No way, I was convinced this shop was extinct.”
Speaking to us, she added: “Normally I don’t shop in River Island but decided to branch out looking for a nice last minute wedding guest outfit since a lot of people on TikTok have found nice things.
“I was shocked when I tried stuff on and it was a nice fit.
“The staff are lovely as well, getting me heels to try on with dresses.”
“River Island summer wear is really nice”, she continued.
“It’s usually a shop I don’t go to because it’s for an older market but I found some really nice stuff.
“I was convinced it was shutting down but I found stuff I liked in there.
“I’m usually a Zara or Primark person but I loved it in there, especially the green skirt I tried on.”
And Eve isn’t the only one loving the satin skirt, as another shopper gushed: “ONE HUNDRED PERCENT my summer colour for this year!!!
“How gorgeous is this skirt from River Island? OBSESSED!!!”
The skirt has been so popular that it’s currently sold out online – so you’ll have to be quick tracking it down in store.

With a variety of items included, such as coats and blazers, as well as kids’ clothes, shoppers went wild in the sale and took to social media to show off their bargain buys.
