‘No butt scrunch,’ people call out wedding guest’s dress, labeling it see-through, immodest, and ‘kinda cheap’
A WEDDING guest has faced criticism for the dress she picked for a red carpet ceremony.
Many thought the wedding dress style was inappropriate, calling it “cheap” and shaming the thin material.
Redditor Pepapoppypippy consulted a forum for wedding attire advice.
“My best friend is getting married! Is this appropriate to wear to her black tie/red carpet wedding?” she asked.
The blonde shared a photo of herself sporting the spaghetti strap floor-length dress.
A second photo revealed the dress’ completely backless design.
Critics pointed out that the dress was great for special occasions, just not the one she was going to.
“You look great in it but you look like you are going to prom, not a black tie wedding,” said one commenter.
Others couldn’t help but agree that she needed to swap the dress out for something more elevated.
“For red carpet/black tie I honestly think you could go more fancy,” said another.
“The material and back makes it look more on the cheap side in my opinion.”
