‘Put none of them through!’ rage MasterChef fans as they demand mass axing of ‘useless’ contestants
MASTERCHEF fans have been left fuming after watching the third week of culinary heats.
Amateur chefs raced against each other to turn an everyday shopping ingredient into a delicious dish in a basic to brilliant challenge.
Judge Gregg Wallace announced that only two cooks would make it through to the next round with their creations.
But after seeing what the contestants came up with, viewers thought that number should be brought all the way down to zero.
The MasterChef audience at home was disgusted by the lack of talent on display in the cook off, with one person even complaining a chef could poach one egg and be awarded a pass.
One viewer scoffed: “I reckon I could have got through tonight with beans on toast main followed by Angel Delight.”
Another agreed: “These have all the potential of being the weakest 6 so far. Poach an egg and you’re through.”
A third hit out: “Pretty sure that none of these contestants would have gone through if they’d have been in any other episode!”
She went on to ask: “Can they decide they actually don’t want to give any more aprons?”
Despite distaste from the viewers, Abi and Ben were both awarded aprons, allowing them through to the next round of the cooking competition.
MasterChef fans also previously complained when Ben served up a fish dish that was so raw audiences claimed the it was “still swimming”.
His tuna appetiser was far too rare for viewers’ palates and the portion size was much too big.
One person joked: ” I know that fuel prices are bonkers, but surely they can afford to turn the hob up for a bit longer than that.”
