BBC Breakfast fans ‘cry with laughter’ at something VERY strange behind Sally and Jon during ‘hostage-style’ interview

Sally Nugent, 52, and Jon Kay, 54, were both back on the BBC Breakfast sofa bright and early as they brought Britain up to speed with the day’s headlines.

On the programme, they were joined by a special guest ahead of the launch of the new series Doctor Who.

Russell T. Davies was spilling all the secrets on his return after having worked on the show in the mid-2000s.

The scriptwriter and showrunner has made a triumphant comeback much to fans delights to oversee the next run of episodes fronted by Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.

For the interview, the BBC studio was overtaken by Daleks on the screen in a moment which appeared to show Sally and Jon being ‘taken hostage’.

In a funny on-screen ‘blunder’, the Daleks appeared to be pointing towards Jon and Sally in a bid to ‘exterminate them’.

At one point, Sally threw her hands in the air which made it look as though she was surrendering to the evil Doctor who force.

Picking up on the moment, one fan suggested they were crying with laughter at the scene as they wrote alongside an emoji: “Looks like the Daleks are forcing this interview to happen.”

Doctor Who will make its global premiere around the Whoniverse and for those in the UK on May 11.

For the very first time, the show will land with two episodes on BBC iPlayer at midnight before arriving on BBC One later that day.

The episodes will be followed by the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.

Those outside the U.K. can also catch up on the Doctor and Ruby Sunday’s adventures as the show will drop on Disney+.

The new season features the return of Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor alongside Millie Gibson as companion Ruby Sunday after making their debuts on Christmas Day.

Bonnie Langford has left fans delighted as she announced she’s returning to the series this Spring.

The 59-year-old will reprise her role as Melanie ‘Mel’ Bush for Doctor Who‘s fourteenth series.
