Share Market Highlights 23rd April 2024: Sensex, Nifty hold steady; Sensex rises 89 points to 73,857, Nifty 50 rises 31.60 pts to 22368
Sensex, Nifty updates on 23rd April 2024: As per provisional figures, BSE Sensex trades at 73,738.45, up 89.83 pts or 0.12% and Nifty 50 trades at 22,368.00, up 31.60 pts or 0.14%.
Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, SBI, Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever were the top gainers on the Sensex. The laggards were Sun Pharma, M&M, Reliance, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finance. All the broad Nifty market indices were in positive territory. The Nifty Midcap 100 was up 1.06 per cent, while the Nifty Smallcap 100 was up 0.98 per cent.
