Who remembers THAT 2015 viral dress debate that divided the world – is it blue and black, or white and gold?
Well, it turns out there’s a whole new controversial debate in town…because a confused mum has left the internet baffled after questioning what the animal is on the front of her son’s top, which is originally from Joules.
Taking to Facebook group FAMILY LOWDOWN TIPS & IDEAS, Beth Victoria explained how she bought a top for her son from Vinted and initially assumed it was a bear riding a bike.
She didn’t think much of it, until her son wore it for the first time and received a comment about it being a rat, and another a hedgehog.
Deciding to find a clear answer once and for all, she told how she did an Instagram poll asking what it was, however, was shocked to find it was an even split.
“Several people thought it was a mole which brought a whole new animal to the table,” she commented.
“When you look closely, it could be any of those things.”
Desperate to know the answer, Beth went on to say how she even reached out to a contact at Joules to ask what it was meant to be.

However, unfortunately for everyone invested in the debate, the employee couldn’t find the product using the number because it was an old piece of stock.
Beth says that despite this, they said they were leaning towards a hedgehog.
However, the confused mum cast doubt over this, adding that there’s a hedgehog pictured on the matching leggings and it looks “nothing like this.”
She concluded by asking social media users: “It’s a bear, right?! RIGHT?!”
The post has since been flooded with 454 likes and over 1k comments, with very mixed responses.
“Hedgehog, because his tiny feet and you can see his spines sticking out his jumper,” wrote one.
A second commented: “My sister is one of the designers at Joules and confirmed it is a humpback bear!! I mean I don’t know what one of those is but that’s the answer.”
A third penned: “I would have said Bear, surely a rat would have a long tail?”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “My first thoughts were a pig!”
Another chimed in: “It’s obviously a hedgehog to match the legging print but because it’s appliquéd (sewn on) it’s been done in pieces so it makes it look different. It has spines sewn down it’s back.”
