FBI concealed that one of Trump's foes was being stalked: report
Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page was reportedly being stalked by a "troubled" Marine, who has since been discharged for confessing he was obsessed with her and mass shootings.
The military shared the information with the FBI, but no one told Page she could be in danger, according to the report. In fact, the FBI determined that the man wasn't an imminent threat, the New York Times reported. Months after the decision, he was outside of her home.
John C. Perez pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal misdemeanor stalking charge, and he will be blocked from visiting the Washington, D.C., area for six months. Perez lives in California. The deal also mandates he attend six therapy sessions, the Times reported.

Page is one of the targets that former President Donald Trump had when text messages with her former lover, Peter Strzok, were revealed. Trump claimed that their message revealed a "deep state conspiracy" to block his election in 2016. The text messages were given to Trump from former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in 2017 and were ultimately leaked to the media.
Trump has since been sued by the former former employees.
Page has asked for more strict restrictions on Perez and also attacked the FBI for not warning her of the stalker.
In December alone, Perez came to Page's home at least four times and accused her of being witness to his childhood sexual abuse. The two had never met. In one incident, he even spoke to Page's 11-year-old son, according to the New York Times.
“The F.B.I. knew about his fixation on me since September, and they said nothing,” an emotional Page said in court. “Three months later, he was on my doorstep.”
