Iberia Parish residents approve law enforcement sales tax
IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A sales tax to be used to pay salaries and support expenses of law enforcement was approved with 58% of the vote.
Residents in Iberia Parish have approved a sales tax that would be used to support the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, including paying salaries and benefits of current law enforcement personnel.
