Pet Fest returns to Glens Falls on May 19
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Furry friends and their owners will take over Glens Falls City Park for Pet Fest on Sunday, May 19. The pet-friendly event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is organized by the Glens Falls Collaborative.
Well-behaved and leashed four-legged friends can participate in the festivities. The festival offers interactive demonstrations by North Country Paws for Obedience, an adoptable dog fashion show, and a Dogs Got Talent contest.
The Dogs Got Talent Contest starts at 10 a.m., where dogs can showcase their intelligence and obedience. Awards will go to the top three dogs.
The adoptable dog fashion show begins at noon, followed by a puppy parade. The parade will be led by the winners of the talent contest around the park's perimeter. Between scheduled events, attendees can participate in lure courses, pet and food vendors, and kid activities.
An abundance of educational opportunities will be at the fingertips of pet owners from animal organizations like North Country Paws for Obedience and local trainers. Owners can learn tips and tricks to better their pet's health, find pet-boarding options, and more.
