Indicted Trump lawyer mocked after saying she 'cannot imagine' falling asleep at her trial
Former President Donald Trump has become infamous for his repeated courtroom doze-offs in the middle of his Manhattan hush money trial — and Trump, for his part, claims he's just resting his "beautiful blue eyes." One of his longtime lawyers backs this up, and wants the American people to know that it's ridiculous to suggest he's doing such a thing as fall asleep in court.
"As someone who is recently indicted myself, I cannot imagine falling asleep in my own trial," Christina Bobb told far-right anchor Eric Bolling. "I mean, the idea that President Trump would be sleeping through this is absurd."
Commenters on social media had a field day with Bobb's denials.

"The idea that people call him president Trump is absurd," said self-described entrepreneur Chris Roy. "The idea that people without any education would vote for him is absurd; The idea that he’s mentally fit for office is absurd; The idea that he isn’t the largest criminal in the US outside of a jail is absurd."
"And yet, not a single day of trial has gone by where Trump didn't fall asleep," said the account "Matthew Spira."
"Hence why we've all been laughing at how pathetic it is, Christina," said the account "Bill DeMaya."
"Exactly. It is absurd that Naptain America is sleeping through his own trial," said the account "Crash Jensen."
"I imagine that Donald Trump and his inner circle are all laughing at all of the gullible Americans who are still sticking by them," wrote political influencer Russell Drew. "They themselves know that they are crooked AF, but they are still going to grift until the last dog dies…or until Gov. Kristi Noem kills it."
"'Falling asleep at my own trial' is country song yet to be written," wrote the account @GregKWI.
Meanwhile, other commenters mocked Bobb in her own right.
"Who’s gonna tell Christina getting indicted isn’t the badge of honor she thinks it is?" wrote MSNBC legal analyst Katie Phang.
"'As someone who is recently indicted myself' made me laugh out loud," wrote the account "Ed Kamen."
