Here's the peculiar reason Stormy Daniels wore a black jumpsuit to Trump's trial
Adult film star Stormy Daniels wore a particular black jumpsuit when she appeared in court to testify in former President Donald Trump's Manhattan hush money case. As it turns out, that jumpsuit has some significance, The Daily Beast reported.
Specifically, it's the same outfit she wore in a satirical film making fun of the former president a few years ago.
"According to The New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman, the jumpsuit Daniels wore to stare down Trump in the courtroom is the very same garment she wore in the 2021 film Bad President, a fantasy comedy in which Trump sells his soul to the devil to win the presidency," reported Amanda Yen. Despite the fact that "Daniels had only a small cameo in that film ... she’s one of the star players in this high-stakes trial, over alleged hush money payments to cover up the affair that could’ve ruined Trump’s 2016 campaign."

During the two days of trial in which Daniels testified for the prosecution and took cross-examination from the defense, she revealed a number of salacious details about her alleged affair with the former president, which he continues to deny to this day. Among other things, she said that Trump called her "Honeybunch," did not use a condom, and that she felt intimidated by the power dynamic when she engaged in sex acts with him.
While this testimony was unfolding yesterday, Trump became agitated and cursed audibly in the courtroom, which prompted Judge Juan Merchan to summon defense counsel Todd Blanche and order him to get his client back under control.
The Trump defense team focused for the most part on trying to denigrate Daniels' character and motives, which some legal experts have suggested could be a preview of their strategy when former Trump attorney and fixer Michael Cohen, one of the most central witnesses in the case, takes the stand in the near future.
