‘I can’t do it anymore!’ says Towie star as she reveals ‘split’ fears with show boyfriend
THERE’S trouble in paradise on The Only Way Is Essex, with one of the show’s most loved-up couples hitting a rocky patch.
In an exclusive clip of Towie’s next episode, Jodie Wells is seen confiding in Junaid Ahmed about the state of her relationship with Diags.
As the duo meet up for drinks, Jodie gets emotional as she says: “This weekend, I have been really upset and I have been really thinking about it all, and… I don’t know, I don’t really know how to explain how I’m feeling.”
“I’ve just been really upset, like I was literally at the point where I was thinking I can’t do it anymore,” she confessed.
Hinting there’s another person involved in the reasoning behind her feelings, Jodie added: “I know that sounds so silly because are… we’re in such a good relationship and we are so happy but like…. I don’t know.
“I just don’t want to feel second best to a girl that I’m already feeling a little bit of a way about. You know what I mean? Like it’s really difficult.”
The clip didn’t confirm who Jodie was talking about, but it seems she could still be having long-held issues with his ex, Elma Pazar.
Jodie and Diags have been dating since at least May last year, after meeting when Jodie was hired to be an extra on the set of Towie.
They went Instagram official with their relationship last November.
Since then they’ve been inseparable, even causing trouble among other castmates when they were “given special treatment” while they filmed in Bali.
Their romance has not been an easy one, with Jodie also coming under fire from fans who accused her of ‘using Diags for fame’.
Prior to them dating, Diags – real name James Bennewith – had a short-lived romance with Elma Pazar, but it didn’t work out.
So things took a turn on the last series when Jodie discovered he had kissed Elma while he was seeing her.
Elma is still a regular face on the series, and last year she and Jodie had a showdown over Diags’s playboy behaviour between them both.
Jodie also faced the fury of fans after “mocking Amber Turner’s break-up” in another moment on the show.
