Jennifer Lopez and Daughter Emme Muñiz Spotted Wearing Matching Sneaker Silhouettes in Paris
Jennifer Lopez and her daughter Emme Muñiz were spotted on Thursday afternoon leaving their hotel in Paris each sporting a pair of lace-up sneakers. For the occasion, the star donned a set of white leather sneakers while her daughter wore a pair of Converse Chuck 70s.
The “On the Floor” singer is often seen in more elevated footwear styles, integrating heeled boots, pumps and mules into her everyday wardrobe. In fact, Lopez was recently spotted stepping out of her hotel in Paris in a transparent pair of Stuart Weitzman 100 Patent leather and PVC pumps. Made in Spain, the shoe was constructed from 50% leather and 50% PVC, or polyvinyl chloride.
Lopez was most recently in the United States for the 2024 Met Gala celebrating “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City. The star co-hosted the gala alongside Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Anna Wintour.
About the Shoes
The singer’s shoes, which peeked out from underneath her wide-leg jeans, appeared to feature a thick white rubber sole, lace-up silhouette and contrasting black leather panel towards the back heel.
As for Muñiz’s choice of footwear, her Converse Chuck 70 sneakers featured a traditional black canvas colorway, high-top silhouette and the brand’s iconized star logo adorned to the side. Muñiz is also far from the first child of a celebrity to wear the classic shoe — Willow Smith also often opts for a pair of Chuck Taylor All Star Classic sneakers, while Angelina Jolie’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt has been spotted wearing white Converse sneakers.
