Gabrielle Union Shines in Black Leather Open-Toe Sandals for Netflix is a Joke Fest

Gabrielle Union opted for an airy shoe style in open-toe sandals while supporting her husband Dwyane Wade at Netflix is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles.

The 51-year-old actress wore a pair of black open-toe, leather platform sandals for the occasion. Her shoes featured a thick, asymmetrical black strap that crossed over the top of the foot, complemented by a chunky block heel approximately 3 inches in height and a square toe box.

Union was seen on Thursday, May 9 enjoying a night out in Inglewood with her husband, NBA star Dwayne Wade and their teenage daughter, Zaya Wade. The family hit the red carpet to support Dwayne for his special, “When We Gather: A Night of Stand-Up Comedy Curated by Dwyane Wade” at the Netflix is a Joke Fest inside the Miracle Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.

The actress and entrepreneur often opts for elevated sandals that feature an open-toe design. While at Michael Kors’ fashion show show during New York Fashion Week last August, Union wore a black, peep-toe pair of Steve Madden shoes. She chose a similar pair to the Netflix look while attending the Hall Of Fame Induction Celebration for Dwayne in Los Angeles last August. Last September, she opted for heeled thong sandals while hosting the PROUDLY Hair Care launch at the Babylist L.A. Showroom.
