Nicolas Cage Keeps it Cool in Triple Stitch Deerskin Zegna Shoes Promoting ‘The Surfer’ at 77th Cannes Film Festival
It may be warm in France, but Nicolas Cage is keeping things cool.
The actor stepped out in an off-white pair of slip-on Zegna Deerskin Triple Stitch sneakers Friday. The laceless shoes have crossed elastic up the tongue with a sanitized removable footbed and an extra light, white rubber sole. The Italian made shoe is hand stitched and honors Zegna’s legacy of fine craftsmanship. Foliage-colored leather lining completes the design.
The 60-year-old actor is in town promoting his latest project, ‘The Surfer.’ The film is about a man who returns to his beach side hometown in Australia, but a group of surfers interrupt his plans and try and claim a portion of the beach where Cage’s character grew up. This subsequently embarrasses him in front of his teenage son. Cage plays “The Surfer.”
