The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha election in Jharkhand had a 63% voter turnout, exceeding the national average. The Gandey bypoll turnout was 68.23%. The Election Commission mentioned that the figures will improve with the inclusion of postal ballots and reports from returning officers.
