ANT McPartlin hit the red carpet with Declan Donnelly on his first official outing since becoming a parent.
The pair of dads swapped into suits to attend the prestigous Prince’s Trust Awards today.
Ant couldn’t hide his huge smile after wife Anne-Marie Corbett gave birth to their child.
He took a break from dad duties to attend The Prince’s Trust and TK Maxx and Homesense Awards at London’s Theatre Royal, which celebrates successes of those who have been helped by The Trust.
Ant put on a jubiliant display with Dec – who shares two children with wife Ali – as they huddled beneath umbrellas on a rainy Tuesday afternoon.
The Britain’s Got Talent host became a father last week, announcing on Instagram he and wife Anne-Marie had welcomed baby son Wilder Patrick McPartlin into the world.
Ant appeared to be settling into life with a new baby, keeping out of the public eye.
He took a break from changing nappies yesterday too when he stepped out near his home in west London to walk his cockapoo puppies, Bumble and Milo.
He was seen smiling and waving at photographers, and puffing on a vape in knee-length navy blue shorts and a grey jumper, hiding his eyes behind wayfarer sunglasses.
But nappies and sleepless nights haven’t kept the grin off his face, with the new dad believed to be “over the moon” about finally getting the family he had craved for so long.
In light of his new arrival, Ant stepped back temporarily from his hosting duties but is due to go back to work next week.
He will return to Britain’s Got Talent for the live semi-finals in a few weeks’ time.
A close pal told us: “Ant and Amzie are in a magical place right now, in their own little loved-up bubble.
“He’s not even thinking about TV work at the moment, he’s just loving life – and it’s so great to see.”
Ant’s longtime best pal and work partner Declan is expected to be the baby’s godfather, and has reportedly already been giving advice on life as a dad.
Over the weekend the star broke his silence on what fans believed was a “missing” part of his tattoo tribute to his new family.
