10 charged with federal program theft from Tuskegee University
MONTGOMERY, Alabama: Federal prosecutors said that ten people have been indicted on charges of theft of federal program funding from Tuskegee University.
In a statement, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Alabama said the theft began on an unknown date and continued until 2020.
The university, located 40 miles (64 kilometers) east of Montgomery, has not revealed the amount stolen.
