Jenna Dewan’s Toddler Son Callum Showed off His ‘Head Injury’ in a New Photo: ‘Boy Mom Chronicles’
Being a boy mom should come with free blood pressure medication, because it is not for the faint of heart. (As a mom to three wild, rambunctious, lovely little boys, I would know.) Jenna Dewan just summed up life as a boy mom in her latest Instagram post with her toddler son Callum — and, spoiler alert, it comes with a head injury!
“Boy mom chronicles… peaceful afternoon with a side of head injuries,” the Step Up alum captioned the post. It’s fine, everything’s fine, she’s fine! It’s just a head injury… In the post, she shared several photos, including two selfies of her in the backyard enjoying the sunshine. In one, her 4-year-old son Callum plays in the background. What a wonderful moment! Unfortunately, it took a turn.
Slide to photo 3 to see Callum gnarly head injury. The little boy, who Dewan shares with fiancé Steve Kazee, smiles up at the camera with a full set of teeth. His brown eyes are shining as he looks up at the camera, while someone holds his hair back to show off his boo boo. He has a wicked, Harry Potter-esque, jaggedy scar on his forehead, which looks angry and red (but not bleeding enough for a band-aid). You can tell he isn’t bothered one iota about the injury — and I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back outside and does the same thing again. Boys, am I right?
“Why do they always have to have head injuries?! Lol I swear mine head dives on purpose,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “Every day with boys. I swear they keep us on our toes ????”
The Rookie star is also mom to daughter Everly, 10, with ex Channing Tatum, and is pregnant with her second child with Kazee. Earlier this month, she stripped down for a stunning nude photo on Instagram. Dewan stands sideways in the picture in front of windows, holding her breasts and popping her knee out. Her bump is on full display (as is everything else!) and she is absolutely glowing.
“One more month ????,” she captioned the photo.
Last month, Dewan told PEOPLE that she has felt exhausted during her third pregnancy (see the head injury above for a clue why). “Third pregnancy while chasing two other kids around definitely makes you a little more tired,” she told the outlet. “I find crawling into bed at 9 p.m. is definitely different this pregnancy.” Get it girl! That sounds perfect actually.
“But overall, everything’s been going well,” she added. “And it’s been wonderful. But I’m without a doubt a little bit more tired.”
