OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY)-- For Devin Manuel, an annual girl's trip turned into a dream come true when she became a contestant on "The Price is Right", sharing that Opelousas energy and walking away with memories that can only be described as "priceless."

"A once in a lifetime experience, and just being able to experience it with my sisters, it was just phenomenal," Manuel said. "All the phone calls we've been getting text messages. Yeah, pictures, social media tags, like it's just been outrageous."

Manuel said she grew up watching her grandmother enjoy "The Price is Right" every day.

With those memories in mind, Manuel, along with Victoria Lewis and Danielle Castille, decided to go to Los Angeles for their annual girl's trip and get tickets to a taping of the show.

Things took an exciting turn when Manuel was selected to be a contestant.

"It felt surreal," Manuel said. "It just didn't feel real at that time, but it was."

From meeting Drew Carrey, to playing the iconic games, Manuel got the full experience of the show by also making it to the final showcase.

"Everybody in the audience was just so nice, cheering for Devin," Castille and Lewis mentioned. "They loved Devin. They loved her personality."

What made the entire experience even more special, was getting to come home and watch the show with her family.

"The experience that was priceless, that was one of the best trips we've had," Manuel said. "And we go on a lot of trips, and we talk about going back there all the time. So, I mean, I can't be a contestant for another ten years, but hey, we got two more."

The only challenging part of the entire experience for Manuel was waiting to talk about it. The episode was originally supposed to air three months ago, but after the long wait, Manuel is excited that it's no longer a secret.
