Anya Taylor-Joy Goes Fiery Red in Leather Minidress and Matching Louboutins for ‘Stephen Colbert’
Anya Taylor-Joy continued the promotional circuit for her upcoming film “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” wearing a pair of red suede Christian Louboutin pumps ahead of her appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Featuring a semi-pointed design, the pumps were constructed with all-suede material, and splashed a red velvet colorway to match her monochromatic outfit from Mugler’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear runway collection. The pumps were rounded out by a slender stiletto heel measuring roughly 4.5 inches. In addition to the pumps, the actress fashioned her asymmetrical strappy fringe dress with small silver hoop earrings and a matching silver bangle. The star finished her look with a sleek ponytail and a bold red lip.
Taylor-Joy has showcased a number of notable footwear looks over this past week. On Wednesday, she sported a pair of white stilettos by Aquazzura which consisted of just a toe and ankle strap. The star was also seen wearing this very same pair for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet screening of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” which she paired the pumps with an all-white outfit that featured a matching headpiece.
This followed an appearance in New York City on Tuesday morning after her interview for “Live with Kelly and Mark,” in which she wore a pair of edgy thigh-high pointed-toe boots that featured an angular pointed-toe design on the toe box alongside a slightly slouchy construction alongside a stiletto heel which likely ranged between 4 and 5 inches based on the actress’ love of elevated silhouettes. For the UK premiere of the film in London, Taylor-Joy arrived at the BFI IMAX Waterloo to celebrate the release wearing Christian Louboutin’s So Kate pumps, which boosted a suede upper, a pointed-toe design and a stiletto heel that stood about 5 inches tall.
“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” sees Taylor-Joy starring as the titular character in an origin story of renegade warrior Furiosa before her encounter and team up with Mad Max. The film was directed by George Miller and will be released in theaters on May 24.
