'Emily in Paris' Season 5 Teased During amfAR Gala, But is Not Confirmed by Netflix
Is Emily in Paris getting a fifth season at Netflix?
That’s the question that fans are asking after a guest role in the popular series’ fifth season was auctioned off during the amfAR Gala on Thursday (May 23) amid the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. There’s just one problem, though: Netflix has not confirmed that the show will continue after its still-unreleased fourth season.

Variety reported that Emily in Paris creator Darren Star sponsored the auction, which a person paid €250,000 to win.
On top of a role in the show’s fifth season, the winner will also be able to attend the show’s Season 4 premiere in Los Angeles.
Amid questions about the show’s future, the auction listing was updated to say that the winner “will have the opportunity to spend a day on set in Paris during filming, contingent upon season 5 pickup.”
Earlier this month it was confirmed that the fourth season of Emily in Paris will premiere in two parts this fall. We’ve also gotten photos of the cast filming on location around Europe.
