Report: Centre-back will make his decision soon as Spurs and Chelsea circle
The print edition of Tuttosport (as relayed by Sport Witness) have revealed that Tottenham target Alessandro Buongiorno is expected to make a decision on his future soon.
The report points out that there is no shortage of interest in the Torino star, with the likes of Inter Milan, Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan all keen on securing his services.
Buongiorno is also said to be attracting interest from the Premier League, with both Tottenham and Chelsea said to have made advances over signing the player.
The report highlights that the two London sides both have tremendous spending power which might give them an advantage in the race for Buongiorno.
Torino want £34m for Alessandro Buongiorno this summer
It is revealed that Torino are holding out for €40m (£34m) for the 24-year-old and it is unclear if the Italian sides could meet that asking price.
The outlet says that Buongiorno is expected to think about his future after Torino’s final game against Atalanta on Sunday and make a final decision on his next destination.
The publication adds that there is even a small chance that the Italy international could decide to remain at his boyhood club for one more season.
