Xavi Sacked! Hansi Flick All Set To Be New FC Barcelona Coach

Delhi: The FC Barcelona Coach saga seems to be coming to an end as Barcelona have decided to part ways with club legend and manager Xavi. Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is all set to take the place of the former Barcelona midfielder. The move was announced on X by Fabrizio Romano. Xavi had earlier this season said that he will leave Barcelona but had then changed his mind about leaving. Now it is coming suddenly that Barcelona have decided to part ways with the Spaniard for the German coach.

Xavi Angered Barcelona Management

Xavi seems to have angered the club management of FC Barcelona after he recently made comments about the club’s poor financial conditions. FC Barcelona released a statement saying that they would like to thank Xavi for his services from the time he took the job back in 2021. Xavi led FC Barcelona to a LaLiga Title last season but as for the current season, Barcelona are having a terrible title defense. They have already lost the LaLiga Title to Real Madrid who sit at the top of the table 12 points clear with one game in hand. As for the Champions League, Barcelona lost to Paris Saint Germain in the quarterfinal and made an early exit.

Hansi Flick The Answer?

Hansi Flick is a very renowned manager as he led Bayern Munich to several league titles and a treble by winning the UCL, DFB Pokal and the Bundesliga all in one season. Hansi Flick is said to have signed the agreement with Barcelona and will be bringing two German assistants with him to the club. Once all the formalities have been cleared, the official announcement of Hansi Flick as the new manager of FC Barcelona will be made.
