Elizabeth Hurley Pokes Fun at Her Online Persona With This Dior Underwear Ad
Elizabeth Hurley’s latest campaign shows she is truly the most confident she’s been, and knows how to turn heads for a daring campaign.
On May 24, Hurley shared an Instagram reel from her latest campaign with Dior. She shared the look with a caption that poked fun at how she frequently poses in her swimsuits or underwear, saying, “Whenever I shoot with @ellenvonunwerth, I always end up in my underwear. Heigh ho ????”
In the clip, with the song “The Boy Is Mine” by Ariana Grande playing in the background, we can see Hurley modeling for Dior in light nude underwear and bra set, which she paired with a differently colored nude trench coat. She’s seen posing for photos for famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth.
The reel includes several clips of her modeling against a mirror, smiling, and fiercely posing for the upcoming campaign; looking so confident throughout the photoshoot. Not only do we love that she pokes fun at herself, but we also adore that she owns the confidence she’s known for.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, she talked about how we need to leave ageism behind, and as women, wear whatever makes us feel the most confident with ourselves. “It’s completely absurd if people think they can’t put a bikini on and enjoy being on the beach because people might think their body looks too old,” Hurley said.
She added, “I mean, that’s just obscene. It’s a terrible point of view. Women should do whatever the hell they want to do” when it comes to style, she explained, adding, “And damn anybody criticizing them.”
