'What is wrong with you?' Spitting-mad Jon Stewart rages against Trump conviction coverage
Jon Stewart lashed out Monday against former President Donald Trump and Republicans who say his criminal conviction was the product of a rigged trial.
Stewart appeared on the Daily Show Monday just days after a historic jury ruling saw former President Donald Trump convicted on felony charges of falsifying business records.
"What planet do you live on for it's clearly not ours?" Stewart quipped, airing a clip of Trump denying he ever uttered his "Lock her up" slogan.
"I think I remember you saying it to her face at a debate!"

Stewart then aired a clip of Trump telling Clinton she should be in jail.
A video montage of Trump saying "lock her up" saw a frustrated and swearing Stewart pounding his desk with his fists.
"This is why the law and order right hates court procedure," Stewart said. "It's the last place where you have to prove what you say."
Since his return to late night, Stewart has targeted Trump, conservative pundit Tucker Carlson, State of the Union rebutter Sen. Katie Britt and MAGA followers he said resemble members of a cult.
"There's no level of loyalty deep enough to be free of Trump cancel culture," Stewart said last night. "Emphasis on cult."

On Monday, Stewart railed against political news pundits, from Fox to MSNBC, who air false statements from Republican political leaders without providing fact checks and context.
"The news media has decided there is no such thing as reality...what the courts do really well is look back and reconstruct the reality" Stewart said. Instead, said Stewart, "They look forward and wildly speculate on the future."
Stewart threw his papers up in the air and screamed, "What is wrong with you?"
