Anya Taylor-Joy Shines in Black Patent Leather Buckled Boots at Dior 2025 Cruise Show
Anya Taylor-Joy continues to show off her fashion sense in beautiful western European locales. She arrived at the 2025 Dior Cruise fashion show on June 3 wearing a gray blazer over a black fitted outfit, including sheer tights with cut outs and black patent leather boots.
Taylor-Joy has been in the public eye lately as she’s been promoting her most recent film, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” The actress, who grew up in Buenos Aires and London, has proven herself to be a world traveler as of late. This spring season, she has been spotted in Cannes, Tribeca, Monaco, and now Scotland for the new Dior show. On each occasion she’s shown off her distinctive style, which blends classic elements with the occasional edgy flair.
At the Dior event, Taylor-Joy stood in front of a floral backdrop at Drummond Castle in Crieff wearing her black-and-gray ensemble. Her gray tweed blazer was draped over her short black dress and tights, which featured semi-circle cutouts along the upper thighs. The timeless academic look was fitting for the event inspired by the culture of Scotland.
Taylor-Joy’s shoes, meanwhile, made a dramatic statement at the photo call. The patent leather boots shined brightly, reaching just beneath her knee. The boots include buckles all the way up the shaft as well as a lighter-toned heel that contrasted the dark leather. The shoes added an edge to the neutral-toned outfit, aligning with her character Furiosa, who is known to be a tough heroine.
Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri helms the Dior cruise show. While this year brought the show to Scotland, last year’s was based on vibrant Mexico City. The much-anticipated annual event, which takes place at a different locale every year, attracts a host of A-listers from the fashion world and Hollywood.
Taylor-Joy has supported Dior before, attending a fashion show of theirs in 2023 wearing a different pair of black boots.
