NYPL to give away 500,000 free books to kids, teens this summer
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) --- The New York Public Library is giving away 500,000 free books to kids and teens at New York City branches this summer.
Branches in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island on Thursday will begin giving away free books. Attendees will get the chance to pick up a special NYPL bookplate to stick in their new books.
Select library branches will offer Spanish, Chinese, and Large Print titles.
