J.Lo Celebrates Her ‘Hero’ Ben Affleck
Tabloids may be convinced that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are headed for divorce, but that didn’t keep J.Lo from taking a moment to celebrate Affleck as a dad. On Sunday, Lopez posted a black-and-white photo of Affleck, reportedly from his role in the movie Pearl Harbor, to her Instagram Story with a short and sweet message.
“Our hero. Happy Father’s Day,” she wrote. J.Lo also shared a black-and-white photo of her dad in a truck wishing him a happy Father’s Day.
J.Lo shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck has three kids with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner: 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina, and 12-year-old Samuel.
The post comes days after Bennifer attended Samuel’s elementary-school graduation and graduation party on Wednesday. ET reports that while the couple arrived at the graduation separately, they both wore their wedding rings. Affleck and J.Lo put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market earlier this month and are currently living separately, according to CNN. Although Affleck and J.Lo were spotted together on Saturday, Garner was photographed stopping by the home the actor has been renting in Brentwood on Father’s Day.
J.Lo has repeatedly sung Affleck’s praises as a dad, telling the Today show last year that he’s a “wonderful, wonderful father figure” to her twins and that they love him. “He has his own three beautiful children and then there’s us, and he’s fantastic,” she said. “He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means and they love him, and they appreciate him, and so do I.”
