Hotter and Breezy Today as Rain Chances Decrease
Rain chances are decreasing in Acadiana, leading to hotter temperatures in the coming days. Highs today are expected to reach the lower 90s with heat index values closer to 100° under mostly cloudy skies. Isolated showers and storms are still possible but rain coverage will be significantly less than last few days.
Easterly winds will gust over 25 mph, making for very breezy conditions in the area. Winds shouldn't be as strong tomorrow. Minor coastal flooding is possible too.
