The latest gaming giveaway requires no launcher or subscription, the only catch is that there are only a few hours left to grab it.

GOG is an online storefront where you can get DRM-free PC games.

DRM-free means that you don’t require a launcher, such as the Steam or Epic Games app, in order to play.

For the next four hours, PC gamers can grab the action-RPG Shadows: Awakening completely free.

Shadows: Awakening is described as a unique, isometric single-player RPG with real-time tactical combat.

This is playable on Windows PC, and you don’t need a high-end machine to play it.

The blurb for Shadows: Awakening reads: “Shadows: Awakening is the new adventure in the Heretic Kingdoms saga.
