Why does my girlfriend dislike foreplay?
DEAR DEIDRE: I think I must be rubbish at foreplay because my girlfriend never wants sex these days.
We’ve been together for four years and initially we had a wonderful relationship and sex was off the scale.
Now sex has fizzled out. My girlfriend never initiates it. I’m not the biggest in the pants department but I’ve never had any complaints.
I try touching and kissing my girlfriend to indicate that I’d like sex with her but after that, she doesn’t show me what she likes and I don’t know what I’m doing.
I’m 31 and I’ve had three girlfriends but the previous two relationships didn’t last very long.
My girlfriend is 29 and I love her and I want our sex life to be as good as it was when we first met.

Let your girlfriend know how attracted you are to her throughout the day, with little cuddles and kisses, make sure you are communicating well.
Then when it comes to initiating intimacy, it doesn’t feel like a surprise, or that you are ‘only after sex’.
Tell her you want to reignite the spark but there’s no pressure to have sex. Then prove it by enjoying kissing, cuddling and massage with no sex.
