Look inside: Progress made at Hilliard's new recreation and wellness center
HILLIARD, Ohio (WCMH) - Progress is being made on a recreation center in Hilliard.
The Well, a 105,000-square-foot recreation and wellness campus at Scioto Darby and Alton Darby roads, is expected to open in mid 2025, according to the city. Hilliard recently posted an update to social media, noting the building is making "great progress."
Ruscilli Construction, based out of Dublin, provided updates on the building showing what the center currently looks like as construction continues. Once it opens, The Well will offer a gymnasium, indoor running track, fitness and weight room, lap and recreation pool, according to the city’s website.
Along with its fitness amenities, the campus will also be home to a medical health and wellness center through Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center. The facility, which will take up 25,000 square feet within The Well, will bring several services to the campus including clinical and education services, community programming and classes.
