Cardi B Gets Edgy in Rhinestoned Prada Combat Boots at BET Experience 2024 in Los Angeles

Cardi B owned the stage at BET Experience 2024 held on Friday in Los Angeles. The rapper shared the stage with the likes of Gunna, Davido, Sexyy Red and Jordan Ward. For the show, Cardi performed some of her hit songs including “Press,” “Money” and “No Limit,” among others.

Going for a high-impact look, the “I Like It” singer donned a pair of Prada platform combat boots. The Monolith-esque footwear featured a bulky construction with leather uppers, black rhinestone adornments throughout, silver metal hardware and enamel triangle Prada logo detailing. Additionally, the boots were fitted with removable nylon pouches and lug-sole tread, providing the performer with a comfortable non-slip feel while on stage.

Prada features a variety of militaristic silhouettes under their Monolith line, including lug sole boots, loafers, oxfords and Chelsea boots. Each style is often crafted of neutral black brushed leather and features logo hardware, making the silhouette instantly recognizable.

In a sporty twist, Cardi wore a rhinestoned leather jersey in an oversized white and black style which she paired with coordinating black leather micro shorts. The rhinestoned touch on the performer’s top mimicked the same high-shine look of her combat boots, creating a cohesive appearance.

When it comes to shoes, Cardi B is renowned for her love of Christian Louboutin heels — which she’s coined as “bloody shoes” for their signature red soles. The rapper has also stepped out in a range of heeled sandals, boots and mules over the years, hailing from brands including Jimmy Choo, Jessica Rich and Bottega Veneta.

The BET Experience 2024 is a multi-day festival taking place from June 26 to the 30. This year’s festival will feature performances by The Roots, Common, Black Sheep, Cardi B, Gunna and Sexyy Red, along with live comedy routines from talents like Tiffany Haddish, Chris Spencer and Michael Blackson.
