Bethenny Frankel Reveals How Happy She Is That Her Daughter Bryn Isn't This Type of ‘Crazy’ at 14
Being a teenager sucks; there’s no other way to put it. You have so many emotions and hormones and are confused all the time. Add factors like TikTok and societal standards pressing against you 24/7, and it can all be a lot. Being a celebrity’s teenager on top of it? We can’t even imagine. But luckily for Bethenny Frankel, her 14-year-old daughter Bryn has a good head on her shoulders.
In fact, Frankel even said she’s grateful that Bryn isn’t this type of “crazy” at 14.
Recently, she spoke with Us Weekly about her daughter, saying, “I like that she’s not boy crazy or desperate.”
“But she sees that in me. I’m perfectly happy being alone — I’m an only child, and so is she — and that’s an important thing to learn. She’s doing great, honestly. She’s a good kid,” she said. “We spend a lot of time together: We [go on] amazing trips, go to great dinners and get dressed cute. It’s good because when she’s with her friends, then I get [me] time. It’s a nice balance.”
For those who don’t know, Frankel and her ex-husband Jason Hoppy welcomed one daughter named Bryn on May 8, 2010.
Back in June 2022, when the two attended the MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED together, per People, Frankel thanked her “sweet peanut Bryn” while receiving the Reality Royalty Award.
“I have given you everything and you have given me back infinity,” Frankel said. “You are the little girl in people’s dreams. I love you.”
