David Beckham treats Victoria to a caviar breakfast with £510 bottle of champagne to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary
DAVID Beckham pulled out all the stops to treat wife Victoria on their 25th wedding anniversary – including a £510 bottle of champagne.
The couple, who tied the knot back in 1999, looked happier than ever as they marked the special occasion on Thursday.
The ex-Man United and England star, 49, splashed out a Michelin star breakfast at Core restaurant in Notting Hill.
They popped open a bottle of a 1993 Dom Perignon champagne and consumed black and red caviar, with a platter of smoked salmon.
The Spice Girls singer took to social media to share photos of their special day, writing: “Normally in the gym at 10am!!”
She also shared a snap of her poached egg breakfast with a photo of a throwback photo of the pair on their wedding day.
Victoria sweetly penned: “Special anniversary breakfast. 25 years.”
David and Victoria first started dating in 1997 and got engaged a year later.
The pair then tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland, and exchanged vows in front of 29 guests, followed by reception of a long list of friends and family – which is where they changed into their matching purple outfits.
The happy couple slipped back into their matching purple wedding day outfits as a nod to their silver anniversary.
Victoria shared an Instagram video of David squeezing into the iconic ensemble and gasped as his waistcoat appeared to rip.
The pop singer then shared a selfie of her Antonio Berardi wedding dress, which fit like a glove.
While their 19-year-old son Cruz borrowed his dad’s suit and shared a picture of him wearing him, he teased: “The suit fits me,” with a wink emoji.
Sharing a snap of them rocking their iconic looks, they wrote: “Look what we found…”
Victoria opted for a champagne colour Vera Wang gown to tie the knot, while David opted for an all white suit.
Back in 2021 Victoria opened up about their second outfits designed by Antonio Berardi – and why they chose them.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Victoria said: “It just seemed like a really good idea at the time, you know?
“It really did. I think it was a naiveté then.
“We didn’t know about fashion.
“We were just having fun with it, which, to be honest with you, is kind of the way it should be.”
In 2017 David joked about their outfits on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs.
David confessed: “I even had a top hat in purple…
“What was I thinking? I looked like the guys out of Dumb and Dumber.”
