Rebel Wilson Shines in Metallic Gold YSL Espadrilles at Wimbledon Championships 2024

Rebel Wilson attended the Wimbledon Championships 2024 held in London on July 2. The Australian comedian was a guest of Emirates, the official airline partner of the championship games.  

In a high-shine style, Wilson donned a pair of metallic gold espadrilles from Yves Saint Laurent. The star’s dazzling footwear featured reflective metallic gold leather uppers and woven soles, a distinct characteristic of the espadrille style. The toes of the “Pitch Perfect” actress’ shoes were embossed with the French brand’s logo, making the silhouette instantly recognizable.

The designer style seems to be a vintage one, given it isn’t in circulation on YSL’s official website any longer. Wilson’s pair can be purchased on third-party websites including Poshmark, The Real Real, eBay and Vestiaire Collective. The designer style also comes in metallic silver and yellow-gold colorways.

The “Senior Year” star bloomed in a tailored floral suit. The style was comprised of colorful rainbow floral motifs set on a bright white background, creating contrast. The blazer component of her suit was trimmed with black.

When it comes to shoes, Wilson favors sharp styles in neutral tones. The “Isn’t It Romantic” star can be spotted on the red carpet in pointed-toe pumps by Casadei, Givenchy and Rupert Sanderson. However, she also favors affordable heels from labels like Aldo. Wilson is also a fan of pointed-toe flats and loafers when off-duty.

The 2024 Wimbledon Championships started on July 1 and will conclude on July 14. The event is one of the biggest tennis competitions of the year and will feature appearances from big names like David Beckham, Poppy Delevingne, Rebel Wilson, Dave Grohl, Princess Olympia, James Blake and Pink Pantheress, among many others. Last year, Carlos Alcaraz took home his first Wimbledon title on the men’s side, while Marketa Vondrousova won on the women’s side, securing her first Grand Slam victory.
