Kim Cattrall Turns Heads in Metallic Gold Balmain Mules at Wimbledon Championships 2024
Kim Cattrall attended the Wimbledon Championships 2024 yesterday in London.
In a high-shine touch, the “Mannequin” star donned a pair of Eva Mirror mules from Balmain. Retailing for $1,095, the dazzling style was comprised of metallic gold leather quilted embossed uppers, thick and sturdy straps, square open toes, bright pink insoles, lion-shaped buttons fixed to the sides and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels.
The breezy designer mule also comes in an all-black colorway. The gilded lion-shaped adornments fixed to the heels offer the style a dazzling and campy touch, diversifying the otherwise classic mule silhouette.
In a colorful twist, the “Sex and the City” star donned a blush pink wool suit comprised of a tailored blazer and matching pleated trousers. Layered underneath her blazer, Cattrall wore a multicolored blouse in a high-neck style fixed with a floral-inspired print set atop a bright blue background. The blouse also featured a flouncy embellishment on the neckline which hung low.
Cattrall’s shoe style is often modern and sharp. The “Queer as Folk” actress often wears jewel-toned, printed and metallic pointed-toe pumps and heeled sandals, regularly hailing from Manolo Blahnik — as well as luxury brands including Chanel, Balmain and Jimmy Choo. Off-duty, she can also be seen in Birkenstock’s Boston clogs. Cattrall’s also established her presence in fashion, starring in campaigns for Farfetch, Giesswein and Olehenriksen over the years.
The 2024 Wimbledon Championships started on July 1 and will conclude on July 14. The event is one of the biggest tennis competitions of the year and will feature appearances from big names like David Beckham, Poppy Delevingne, Rebel Wilson, Dave Grohl, Princess Olympia, James Blake and Pink Pantheress, among many others. Last year, Carlos Alcaraz took home his first Wimbledon title on the men’s side, while Marketa Vondrousova won on the women’s side, securing her first Grand Slam victory.
