You are a maths whizz if you can work out which number bay the car is parked in within 30 seconds
DRIVERS have been challenged by a fiendish new brainteaser to test their maths skills.
The puzzle may send your head spinning but there is a surprisingly simple solution.
Developed by News9Live, the image shows a blue car parked up in a row of six bays.
Each of the spaces is numbered, with the front end of the car hiding the number of the one it’s in.
The challenge is to use the other numbers to try and work out which one the car is occupying.
The numbers are seemingly random, with one bay marked 68, the next 88 and the one on the other side of the vehicle labelled 98.
However, it’s not as simple as going up in tens or twenties, as the second bay along is dubbed 06.
The team from News9Live challenged: “Can you work out which space the car is parked in?
“Look carefully at the picture.
“You have a sharp mind if you can answer this.”

Anyone caught out by the optical illusion might be stunned to discover that the key is to flip the picture upside down.
While most of the bays look like they are numbered normally, the giveaway is the first space.
It looks like it would be marked 16, but the numbers are back to front.
This is because the car has gone into the space front-end first.
When you rotate the image the correct way around, a sequence quickly emerges.
Now, the bays are clearly labelled in ascending order from 86 to 91 running from left to right.
This means that the car is parked in bay number 87 – mystery solved.
