Cardinals place RHP Lance Lynn (knee) on 15-day IL, ending his season

St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Lance Lynn, playing through a balky right knee this year, went on the 15-day injured list on Wednesday to end his season.
In a corresponding move, the Cardinals recalled right-hander Michael McGreevy from Triple-A Memphis.
