LAST week, Marks & Spencer totally smashed it at our reader-voted Fabulous High-Street Fashion Awards, winning eight titles, including Best One-Stop Shop and Best High-Street Store – and it is easy to see why.
Every time I go online to check out the “new-in” products, they just keep getting better and better.
The highly anticipated Autumn/Winter press show last week was a huge hit with fashion journalists and influencers alike.
My faves included some gold metallic trousers, a buttermilk-yellow Autograph overcoat and a mirror-embellished dress – but not all the new hero pieces are in store yet, so you will have to be patient.
Meanwhile, there are some gorgeous items to be snapped up before they disappear for good.

Cosy boucle always looks expensive, especially in cream.
This super-soft jacket can be dressed up with a bias-cut silk skirt or dressed down with baggy pleated jeans and trainers.

This suit has a whiff of ’90s Tom Ford for Gucci about it.
That midnight-blue velvet just screams luxury!
And remember, you can always split up a suit to get more bang for your buck.
The trousers would look great with a trophy knit and cowboy boots and the jacket will spruce up a pair of old jeans for a night at the pub.

Every single year I say I am going to treat myself to a black tux, but I never do.
Well, this year I am going to invest in one because they never, ever date.

I always invest in one great pair of new-season shoes, because they seem to make all my old stuff look relevant again.

As someone who doesn’t wear dresses very often, a tailored two-piece my go-to for work.
